Oh my goodness, I LOVE these elbow patches (eeks they are primed for embroidery), and if you have some of the same fabric left, maybe I can put on little front pockets??
I do have some of the fabric. It is "repurposed." On my flickr, there are brown faux suede pants. Never worn (size 6, hah, they probably would have fit Lulu). The tag said something crazy like $260! Chopped them up because they were headed to Goodwill!!!! (I know the woman who bought them. She likes expensive things, and especially pricey wine and magaritas from the Mexican restaurant down the street. Possibly the reason she is no longer size 6.)
that is very funny. i am the proud owner of a margaritta maker. now i know my problem. must have all the sides with the drink. wish you all were here we would have a little party.

ReplyDeleteOoo La La!!! I LOVE the elbow patches! By my calculations that's probably $75 worth of suede :) It's already my favorite "new" sweater :)
